Our Approach
Rather than focusing on disability, MightyKids Rehab utilises an interdisciplinary approach highlighting your child’s strengths and abilities to promote their health and wellbeing.
We care for children with a range of backgrounds
Including:
Delays and difficulties with movement, balance or walking
Cerebral palsy
Hypotonia
Torticollis
Plagiocephaly
Concussion
Traumatic and other acquired brain injuries
Spinal cord injuries
Other neurological and neuromuscular conditions which may benefit from a broader rehabilitation approach to care.
Services
We offer medically based clinic assessments and therapy input for children and young adults (up to the age of 25 years), who experience difficulties relating to an underlying neurological condition. Our neurorehabilitation specialists work in partnership with families, local medical and allied health professions to assess and manage young people who have functional limitations as a result of an injury or illness. The goal is to build independence, improving and maintaining participation at home and in the community.
